The Role of a Volunteer English Teacher

When you volunteer to teach English, you’ll take on the role of instructor for eager learners of all ages. The on-site English courses cater to underserved populations with a strong drive to learn English, from traditional school settings to homeless shelters. As a teacher, you will plan your courses, teach and tutor your students, and plan engaging activities to help them understand your language. You may also take part in projects like repairing schools or book and supplies drives.
