This travel experience will be composed of students and professionals. Our success is reflected on our small travel groups of 15-18.  We will need a deposit of $49 to hold your spot. Here is the travel application for you to fill out and send back at your earliest. Once we receive you’re complicated application we will get in touch with you directly.

*What does the day by day itinerary look like?  Here is the agenda – it will change for the better:)!
*Will all of the students be staying together in the same housing in D.R.? Yes the group will be staying together  here is a link to the Caritas Guesthouse.
*Are there any supplies that they should be collecting to bring to the project? Educational supplies and some art supplies would be great but not required. Volunteers like to bring sports stuff like baseballs, basketballs (deflated), sneakers and toys that do not require batteries.

Start a Caritas Smile Chapter at Your School

If you are interested in launching a Caritas Smile Campus Chapter at your school, please take the following steps:

  • Inform Caritas Smile  of your interest by e-mailing our team at travel@caritasmile.org and we will help you and support you along the process.
  • Obtain approval for student organization status at your college/university.
  • Establish a Chapter Constitution
  • Identify a Campus Faculty Advisor.
  • Scan all documents, contact information, and social media handles and submit them to caritasmile@gmail.com, or mail hard copies to:

  • Begin recruiting, networking, fundraising, and raising awareness about your Campus Chapter.  Check out the Chapter Resources that ASP offers for these tasks to get started.
  • You may also request in-person trainings from Caritas Smile about how to get started anytime along this process, we train in launching, connecting with community partners, recruiting, fundraising, project planning, and more.  Email our team at caritasmile@gmail.com for more information or to schedule a training.
